We will use mostly free social media platforms for marketing. This list contains some of the platforms that I think might be useful. Use AI to find out what the best ways might be to use each platform. Ask AI, for instance, what kind of tools does Facebook offer that I might use to attract members. Look at each of these platforms (and any others that you might think are relevant).

  1. The Dominican Republic has many delicious typical dishes, including:
    La Bandera: The national dish of the Dominican Republic, consisting of white rice, red beans, chicken or beef, and accompanied by tostones, salad or avocado. It is a colorful dish that makes reference to the national flag.
    Sancocho: A stew that combines several ingredients, such as pork, chicken, onions, plantain, potatoes, yuca and sweet potato.
    Mofongo: A dish of African origin that is very popular in Dominican cuisine.
    Fried fish: A typical dish from the coasts of Caribbean countries.
    Grilled octopus: A typical dish of Greek cuisine that has been adopted by Dominican cuisine.
    Yaniqueques: A typical street snack consisting of a fried flour fritter or pork rind.
    Pasteles en hoja: A Christmas specialty consisting of a plantain dough filled with meat or vegetables and wrapped in a banana leaf.
    Catibías: Dominican empanadas made from cassava flour and filled with lobster, conch, chicken or beef.
    Yaroa: A typical Dominican snack consisting of lasagna-style layers containing ground beef, salsa, chips and melted cheese.
    Habichuelas con dulce: A dessert prepared with coconut milk, condensed milk, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, sugar, salt, red beans, sweet potatoes and raisins.

  2. The most popular music genre in the world is pop, although there is also a growing interest in local genres. Some of the most listened to music genres are:
    Reggaeton
    It combines Spanish reggae with hip hop and originated in Puerto Rico in the 90s.
    Rap
    It originated in the working-class neighborhoods of New York in the late 60s.
    Electronic music
    It is heard in clubs, festivals, concerts and other special events.
    Indie
    Also known as independent music, it is a musical alternative for those who want to listen to something different.
    As for the most popular songs, some of the most played on Spotify are: “Blinding Lights,” “Shape of You,” “Someone You Loved,” “As It Was.
    On YouTube, some of the most viewed music videos are:
    “Despacito” (Luis Fonsi ft. Daddy Yankee)
    “Shape of You” (Ed Sheeran)
    “See You Again” (Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth)
    “Uptown Fund” (Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars)

  3. Los dominicanos celebran diversos días típicos, entre ellos el Día Nacional del Merengue, el Día Nacional del Folklore y el Día de la Independencia. 
    Día Nacional del Merengue 
    Se celebra el 26 de noviembre.
    El merengue es un ritmo musical y de danza originario de República Dominicana.
    Día Nacional del Folklore 
    Se celebra el 10 de febrero.
    Se conmemora la variedad de ritmos, sabores y colores que forman parte de la cultura dominicana.
    Día de la Independencia 
    Se celebra el 27 de febrero.
    En 1844, Juan Pablo Duarte y el resto de “La Triniatria” lograron la independencia de la República Dominicana.
    Además, el carnaval es una de las tradiciones más importantes de República Dominicana. Durante el carnaval, se realizan desfiles en los que se pueden ver personajes como el diablo cojuelo, el robalagallina, el califé, los africanos y los indios.
