Why are Places so important?
Each simulation in World Simulation Club unfolds across a set of carefully crafted Places. These Places represent the arenas, environments, or territories where decisions, missions, and interactions occur.
Each Place offers:
- **Unique Challenges** – Terrain, politics, culture, or local issues that shape the decisions required.
- **Distinct Trait Emphasis** – Some Places reward intelligence or diplomacy; others favor boldness or physicality.
- **Multiple Action Paths** – At each Place, Execs may choose between different Actions (e.g., negotiation, confrontation, subversion), each tied to specific traits.
During sim setup, Execs may:
1. **Select Locations** – Depending on sim rules, Execs may start in different Places or rotate weekly.
2. **Unlock New Zones** – Certain Actions or outcomes reveal bonus Places or grant temporary access to restricted areas.
3. **Adapt to Local Variables** – Events may shift environmental factors, local resistance, or resource availability in each Place.
The number and type of Places per simulation vary. Some simulations revolve around 3 strategic zones; others may have dozens. Every Place adds depth, conflict, and narrative to the sim experience.
